Here is the piece of experimental data from the practice of determining the radius of the earth, held together with 566 colleges, most of Spain, and one American. We can see that the points define a line almost as naturally by the proximity of the date of collection of data (Thursday, March 26, 2009) to the vernal equinox.

With this data sheet and map for the previous entry The following parameters were calculated:

This is the map of Spain we used to practice measuring the radius of the Earth as it did 2300 years ago Eratosthenes. This practice is coordinated by Professor Peter Closas from Barcelona and is included within the activities to celebrate the International Year of Astronomy.
With this map we have to calculate the distance of Fuente Vaqueros to parallel 40 º using a simple rule.
